OGD-8080 Air Conditioner Base Component Hot Melt Adhesive (Electronic and Electrical Assembly Hot Melt Adhesive)
OGD-8080 is a specialized EVA-based hot melt adhesive for electronic and electrical assembly, featuring yellow opaque circular particles. Specially developed for bonding and fixing air conditioner base components, it is widely adapted for the assembly processes of various home appliances, electronic components, and light industrial products.
Description
Precautions
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the substrates before application to remove dust, oil, and impurities, ensuring the substrates are clean and dry for a secure and stable bond.
- Strictly control the operating temperature, with a recommended application range of 140–170°C. Avoid prolonged operation above the limit to prevent adhesive degradation and aging, which can lead to reduced bonding strength.
- The open time and curing effect of the adhesive are influenced by adhesive temperature, ambient temperature, coating volume, lamination pressure, and lamination time, and can be flexibly fine-tuned according to actual production line conditions.
- The molten adhesive has a high temperature. Do not touch the adhesive or high-temperature equipment with bare hands during operation to prevent severe burns.
- Keep the operation site well-ventilated, store the product out of the reach of children, and in case of accidental burns, immediately soak the affected area in cold water for over ten minutes and seek medical attention promptly. Detailed safety parameters can be found in the MSDS.
Core Advantages
- Dedicated Adaptation for Air Conditioner Bases with Strong Appliance Targeting: Directionally optimized for air conditioner base fixing and household appliance structural bonding. Aligned with the load-bearing characteristics of appliance assembly, it provides a stable bond that resists loosening, perfectly adapting to mass production lines for air conditioners.
- Low-Odor and Eco-Friendly, Meeting Appliance Interior Standards: Features an odorless, pure formulation with low VOC emissions, meeting the environmental protection requirements for internal assembly of household appliances and electronics with no residual odor for a better end-user experience.
- High-Strength Bonding with Excellent Peel Resistance: The adhesive possesses strong internal cohesion, good initial tack, high post-curing bond strength, and large peel force. It can replace conventional fixing aids to ensure firmly bonded parts that resist degluing and loosening over long-term use.
- Flame Retardant and Weather Resistant with Superior Comprehensive Protection: Comes with a UL94V-0 flame retardant rating alongside excellent acid-alkali resistance and thermal-cycling performance. It adapts to complex household appliance operating environments with anti-aging and anti-corrosion properties for an extended service life.
- Great Melt Flowability, Adapted for Automated Production: Features a low-viscosity formula with excellent fluidity after high-temperature melting. It provides even application without stringing or nozzle clogging, and adapts to various automated hot melt equipment to boost production line efficiency.
- Wide Versatility across Multiple Electronics and Electrical Categories: Beyond air conditioner components, it is compatible with refrigerators, televisions, automotive interiors, batteries, cosmetic components, and other multi-category product assemblies for flexible production scheduling and broad application scenarios.
